I arrived back in Grande Prairie late last night around 1:00am after the grueling drive up from Calgary. Even though the drive was long, I was eager and excited to report back to the classroom and get started with some prep work for this upcoming school year. I had gradually accumulated a ton of fresh books to add to my own personal classroom library. I couldn't wait to get sorting and just figuring out everything I have. However, My dreams for the early head start were crushed upon entering my classroom. This was the first year I had a job lined up early, so I completely forgot about the "summer configuration" of the desks and chairs along with the unorganized box-stuffing of supplies and resources I previously completed in late June. What was going to be an afternoon of me playing "librarian" turned into me role-playing as a mover/interior designer as I had to re-configure my room. The silver-lining here is the desks and chairs are now set up, and I was able to find a few spots to rest my full boxes of books. Tomorrow!....Tomorrow! I will get my books taken care of! Now it's time for me to get back into my Grande Prairie routines. Dinner then working out, more maybe just Dinner, or Dinner AND Dinner...Yeah, that sounds good, lets not get too ambitious this early on.
